Vagabonding

Our first walking project, Vagabonding, involved a 120 mile long  journey inspired by the  journals of one of England’s most famous puppeteers, Walter Wilkinson.

This show featured a collection of Cumbrian stories performed each evening on village greens, pub beer gardens and outdoor public spaces. This walking adventure lasted for three weeks performing in countless al fresco venues to thousands of people along the way.

The project was commissioned by the Lakes Alive programme of outdoor events in Cumbria.

“When they set off into the unknown the Vagabonding duo, could never have anticipated the celebrity status they would have earned, come their final show.”
