Larks In The Park

Larks in the Park, a three day festival of music, participation and exercise for young
people and their families, took place in award-winning Barrow Park.  Conceived as a means to inspire young people and their families to share a healthier diet and desire to exercise, the show was delivered to primary schools from Barrow-in-Furness.

Teachers’ comments included:

“It was excellent. It was entertaining on adult and pupil levels.”

“Children kept referring to ‘5 a day’. This made an impact on their topic of discussion in school.”

“Something bit different in the park other than just going to play area or duck feeding and a walk or picnic. Pirate was a big hit. Funny for kids and big kids! Well done.”
